Enjoy the impressive views of Mizithres
Make sure to visit the Mizithres viewpoint for a truly breathtaking view. It is one of the most beautiful spots on the whole island! You can not drive to the end point as the road is not paved and in really bad condition (sandy, full of holes in the road etc.). From the starting point it is a fifteen minute walk to the actual viewpoint, really magnificent! Be sure to bring water and a hat, because the sun will glare on your head!
Have a drink at Keri Lighthouse
Next up: Keri Lighthouse! The location of this restaurant is simply breathtaking. It is located quite high near a cliff, giving you a spectacular view of the sea and Mizithres, only a five minute drive from the viewpoint. The restaurant also has a little platform with fences around it, so you can enjoy the view even better. You’ll also find some picturesque spots that seem to come straight off a postcard. So magical! They offer a wide variety of drinks (and food), so there’s something for everyone!
Visit the Damianos Caves
Time for another wonderful view! A 20-minute drive from Keri Lighthouse will bring you to the Damianos Caves. Once you park your vehicle, it is a less than 10 minutes walk to the caves. Standing in the caves will give you an incredible view of the valley! The way there is easy to do, we even did this on heels! And what you’ll get in return is definitely worth it.
Sunset dinner at Cave Damianos Restaurant
End your day at Cave Damianos Restaurant. It is one of the most romantic restaurants ever, with a stunning interior! Be sure to arrive a little before sunset to be able to dine during sunset! We didn’t make a reservation and still got the last table on the terrace with the most amazing sunset view. If you don’t want to take risks like we did, make a reservation. The sunset is simply amazing and will take your breath away. Get ready for the perfect evening!
