Early morning at Pura Ulun Danu Bratan
Start your day bright and early with a visit to Pura Ulun Danu Bratan, a breathtaking temple complex located by the peaceful waters of Lake Bratan. This iconic site is often shrouded in morning mist, which gives it a mystical atmosphere. We loved strolling around here, it’s the perfect place for some quiet reflection and photography. You have different sections of the site to explore, which means you can definitely spend some time here! There’s also a restaurant, cafe, and even ice cream shop in case you’re hungry.

Explore Leke Leke Waterfall
Next, you'll visit Leke Leke Waterfall, a magical spot nestled in lush greenery. The 15-minute hike to get there is easy, and once you arrive, you'll find a rock perfectly placed for amazing photos. The entrance fee is 50,000 IDR, which is around € 3.

Visit Jatiluwih Rice Terraces
Jatiluwih is a UNESCO World Heritage site that feels like Bali's beating heart. The landscape tells the story of centuries-old farming traditions where every tier of the terraces are carved meticulously by hand. We can say with confidence that the rice terraces at Jatiluwih deserve every right to be on the UNESCO World Heritage list. They’re the most impressive rice terraces we’ve ever seen, and we’ve seen a lot of them! Entrance is 50,000 IDR (around € 3).

Local dinner at Warung Classic
End your day with a tasty and budget-friendly dinner at Warung Classic. Their nasi goreng and mie goreng are packed with flavor, and we never spent more than € 6 for two meals and two drinks. Definitely a great spot to enjoy local food!
