Explore the Ubud Art Market

Start your day with a stroll through the lively Ubud Art Market, where local vendors offer everything from handcrafted jewelry to beautiful wood carvings. Here’s a little insider tip: try to arrive early and ask for the “morning price”. Whether it’s genuinely a special deal or just a quirky selling tactic, you might just snag some unique finds at a lower cost! The market is a fun place to stroll around, even if you don’t plan on buying anything! But whatever you do, don’t rush. You can easily spend a few hours here exploring and haggling like a local ;-)

Dinner at Zest

Next up is Zest, a plant-forward vegan restaurant that’s buzzing with energy and packed with character. Even if vegan cuisine isn’t usually your thing, this place has something for everyone. We loved their crispy baby potatoes with chipotle mayo and the refreshing lemonades. So good! The ambiance is lively and welcoming, and definitely nothing like your ordinary restaurant.

Watch a Legong dance performance at Ubud Palace

Ubud Palace is a must-visit for its beautiful gardens and stunning temples, but the real magic begins at night with the captivating Legong dance performance. We loved seeing traditional Balinese stories unfold through graceful dance. The show starts at 7:30 PM and lasts about 1.5 hours. It gets crowded, so be sure to arrive an hour early for the best seats!
