Start your day with a delicious breakfast at Maman
Maman is a French bakery with different locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey City, Montreal and Toronto. This cute bakery offers a selection of baked goods, coffee, breakfast and lunch options. We went for the smashed avocado toast and the omelette. The avocado toast was a real piece of art, the presentation was extraordinary! The best part is it tasted even better than it looked. We also had a delicious chai latte here, although not the best we had in NYC (keep on reading to discover where you can get THE best chai latte). Maman is open seven days a week, if you’re in New York you really should grab breakfast here at least once.

Visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, also known as the Met, the largest museum in New York and also the most-visited. It all starts with the outside of the museum where you can find the famous MET steps (Hello Upper East Siders, Gossip Girl Here!). The inside of the museum is even more impressive, from classical to modern art and from sculptures to paintings. Fun fact: the MET is the largest art museum in the United States, with over 2 million works of art spanning 5,000 years of world culture. There’s definitely something for everyone!
En commençant sur Museum Mile, faites une promenade tranquille de 7 minutes depuis le MET le long des verts luxuriants de Central Park jusqu'à votre prochain arrêt.

Explore the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum
In the MET you have been able to admire a combination of classical and modern art, now it’s time for some modern art and architecture. The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is one of the most iconic and abstract buildings in New York City. The art already begins on the outside, with a building shaped like a spiral. Inside you can find an impressive collection of modern art from great masters like Picasso, Monet, Rousseau, and more. Really impressive!

Some window shopping at Fifth Avenue
End your day with some window shopping! Fifth Avenue is one of the most expensive and famous shopping streets in America. The stores here are beautiful, with luxury brands like Gucci, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Louis Vuitton, and many others. Be sure to check out the wonderful Apple store as well, if you haven’t already!
