United States
Fifth Avenue, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Guggenheim
Your last day is all about art! Explore 2 of New York's most famous museums and admire some classical and modern art, but not without enjoying a delicious breakfast first!

Start your day with a delicious breakfast at Maman
Maman is a French bakery with different locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey City, Montreal and Toronto. This cute bakery offers a selection of baked goods, coffee, breakfast and lunch options. We went for the smashed avocado toast and the omelette. The avocado toast was a real piece of art, the presentation was extraordinary! The best part is it tasted even better than it looked. We also had a delicious chai latte here, although not the best we had in NYC (keep on reading to discover where you can get THE best chai latte). Maman is open seven days a week, if you’re in New York you really should grab breakfast here at least once.
As you leave Maman, head east on 81st Street for about 9 minutes, which will take you through the charming and picturesque neighborhood of the Upper East Side. Keep an eye out for the beautiful brownstones and tree-lined streets along the way!

Visit the Metropolitan Museum of Art
The Metropolitan Museum of Art, also known as the Met, the largest museum in New York and also the most-visited. It all starts with the outside of the museum where you can find the famous MET steps (Hello Upper East Siders, Gossip Girl Here!). The inside of the museum is even more impressive, from classical to modern art and from sculptures to paintings. Fun fact: the MET is the largest art museum in the United States, with over 2 million works of art spanning 5,000 years of world culture. There’s definitely something for everyone!
Starting on Museum Mile, take a leisurely 7-minute stroll from the MET along the lush greens of Central Park to your next stop.

Explore the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum
In the MET you have been able to admire a combination of classical and modern art, now it’s time for some modern art and architecture. The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum is one of the most iconic and abstract buildings in New York City. The art already begins on the outside, with a building shaped like a spiral. Inside you can find an impressive collection of modern art from great masters like Picasso, Monet, Rousseau, and more. Really impressive!
Starting at the Guggenheim Museum on Museum Mile, you have two options to get to your next destination, St. Patrick's Cathedral. If you choose to take a yellow cab, the ride will take you just 6 minutes, but if you prefer a leisurely stroll down Museum Mile and 5th Avenue, it will take you around 40 minutes. Along the way, you'll pass by some of New York City's most iconic landmarks, such as the Central Park Reservoir and the Plaza Hotel. Whether you’re on foot or in a cab, take in those amazing views one last time!

Some window shopping at Fifth Avenue
End your day with some window shopping! Fifth Avenue is one of the most expensive and famous shopping streets in America. The stores here are beautiful, with luxury brands like Gucci, Cartier, Tiffany & Co, Louis Vuitton, and many others. Be sure to check out the wonderful Apple store as well, if you haven’t already!
