Hike to the remote Fteri Beach
This is a vacation tip for those who also like to be active on holiday. One of the most beautiful beaches in Kefalonia is only accessible by boat or on foot: Fteri Beach. Park your Eliza was here rental car in the designated parking area, and after a half-hour walk, you will arrive at a bright blue beach. Enjoy the sea, the view, and head back to the car with good spirits. Note: this is a steep uphill! Best to plan the hike in the morning.
Relax & lunch at Vouti Beach
A steep road down, but every little moment of fear is worth it: Vouti Beach in Kefalonia. Ideal distance from Fteri Beach, so perfect to drive here after the hike. Paradise on earth, thanks to its white sand and clear water. It's nice and quiet here, but at the same time, everything is available for a pleasant day at the beach: you can rent sunbeds, there is a (delicious!) lunch spot, and the bay is just big enough to explore on foot. Locals also come here on weekends to cool off, which usually says enough. I'll let the photos speak 🇬🇷!
