Welcome to Salina!

There are 7 Aeolian Islands, so choosing is loosing. After some research I find that ‘the green island’ Salina had most to offer in regards to what we were looking for: beautiful nature, good food, beautiful hotels and options to go wine tasting. We stayed here for 3 nights, which was perfect to relax.

Check-in at Hotel Signum

If you are looking for a hotel with a unique character, ultimate comfort and stunning design, Hotel Signum is where you need to be. This building used to be an family house with many terraces that overlooks the sea. Today it is pure heaven for guests of Salina. Located in Malfa, it’s perfectly positioned to explore the island. We spent the afternoon here having lunch (the bistrot has a view to die for) and relaxing by the pool.

Signum wellness time 🧘‍♀️

The hotel also has a wellness, which is open to everyone to book. Perfect to spend some time right before dinnertime. The wellness is based on ancient Greek & Arabic traditions, so you’ll find quite some not-so-ordinary baths here. Loved it!

Dinner at Ristorante Signum

As if the hotel wasn’t already perfect enough, Michelin has rewarded the gourmet restaurant of chef Martina Caruso with a star! That means you can spend all night here enjoying the best Sicilian cuisine in a top-notch way. Every dish was simply amazing and made with lots of love.
