Fiat cabrio pick-up at Cicar

Since we were staying in a location we'd never stayed in before, we decided to rent a car to explore other parts of the island. We reserved our car a couple of weeks before arrival with Cicar (Canary Island Car). Obviously, we had to rent a cabrio to get the most out of our couple of days on the island and to catch the most sun. ☀️ In case you're wondering: the total price for three days was +-150 euros incl. gas. If you're looking to rent a car anywhere on the Canary Islands, Cicar should be your go-to!

Driving up to the fairytale town of Masca

Last year, a friend I visited in Tenerife showed me Masca for the first time and I was in complete awe of the beauty of that little town. The palmtrees, mountains, authentic atmosphere of the town where there's always someone in the square playing the guitar, the tranquility and the crisp air are just indescribable. Obviously, this time, I had to show my sister what was so amazing about Masca. Since I knew the drive there isn't the easiest, I rented the smallest car possible (everything turned out fine, but the drive there is super nerve-wracking so please keep this in mind if you're thinking about visiting Masca). Besides being one of the most beautiful places I have ever visited, they also serve the best leche y leche, which is my favorite way to drink coffee and a must order when you're in Tenerife. Leche y leche is basically coffee with milk to which they also add condensed milk, yummyyy!

Reliving childhood memories in Playa de Las Américas

Since Los Gigantes is only about a half-an-hour drive from Playa de Las Américas, we drove over there a couple of times during our stay in Tenerife. We used to stay there with our family every year, but it had been a while so it was nice to visit a familiar place again. My grandma used to stay there during wintertime as well, so it obviously also has an emotional meaning to us. There's always something to do and see in Playa de Las Américas! We first had a bite at Cafe el Parque which is right next to the ocean and this stunning beach club called OA. Afterwards we took off to go shopping and had some goals (like finding our signature scents at a cheaper price👀).

Dinner at Garden Atlantis

This might be a bit of a hidden treasure for many of you, but Garden Atlantis has some of the best food in Puerto Colón. We know this since Club Atlantis is the place we used to always stay at with our family. We were obviously forced to have dinner there, there was no way we couldn't. 😉 We ordered our usual go-to starters, me the mixed tapas and my sister the meat croquettes, for mains we shared a (cooked to perfection) chateaubriand! You can even order a full menu for only 19EUR which includes starter, main, dessert and drinks - put this one on your bucket list for Adeje. 🤍
