We went on a day trip from Malta to Gozo. This island is smaller and quieter than Malta, but it has it's own beautiful landscapes, coasts and charming villages well worth a visit!
For exploring the island, I definitely recommend renting a car. We had a rental car for our four days in Malta, and it was super easy to take it on the ferry for our day trip to Gozo. This made getting around the island much more convenient! I love to rent a fully insured rental car from Sunny Cars, since their service is great.
