United Arab Emirates
Next stop: Palm Jumeirah
One thing that we loved about Dubai is the combination of vibrant city life and relaxing beach vibes. That's why chose to stay on The Palm Jumeirah for the second part of our trip. On this day we explored the View, the Pointe and Palm West Beach.

Admire the actual palm from the View
Our first stop on Palm Jumeirah was the View at the Palm, a new observation deck from where you can admire the history and view of the world-famous palm structure. We did find the tickets (about 20 euros) a bit pricey, but it's still the most affordable option to enjoy this iconic view.
At the bottom of the View you will find the Nakheel mall. From there, you can take the monorail that goes all the way to the famous Atlantis resort. Taking this metro line is an experience in itself.

Coffee, beach, and resort views at the Pointe
Just one monorail stop away from the View, you will find an area that is called the Pointe. Even though there isn't all too much to see here, it's a nice spot to enjoy a nice lunch or coffee break with impeccable views of the iconic Atlantis resorts (yes there's two now). Our favorite cafe here was Brunch & Cake.

Mexican food with a view
Our first night on The Palm Jumeirah we decided to stroll down West Beach boulevard for dinner and ended up at Señor Pico, a relatively affordable Mexican restaurant with great vibes, taco's, and views of the beach and Dubai Marina skyscrapers. Truly a great spot for a casual dinner with an amazing view at not even 5 minutes walking distance from our hotel.
