Shopping and dining next to the Burj Al Arab
Visiting the Souk Madinat Jumeirah, taking a traditional Abra boat and enjoying a memorable dinner with Burj Al Arab views.

Discovering Souk Madinat Jumeirah
After a relaxing morning at the beach, we left for the Souk Madinat Jumeirah in the late afternoon. This unique shopping and dining destination next to the famous 7-star Burj Al Arab Hotel is truly an enchanting world of its own. Here, you can get lost in the souk itself, explore the area on a traditional Abra boat ride or dine at one of the many amazing restaurants and beach bars. One of the best tips to save some money here is ironically to make a dinner reservation at one of the restaurants by the water. This way, you don't have to pay 100 AED or 25 euros per person for an Abra boat, as the ride will be included in your dinner. Simply go up to one of the decks and show them your reservation to enjoy your free Abra tour. Definitely a unique way to enhance your dinner experience.

Chinese cuisine Dubai style at Zheng He's
Choosing between the many restaurant at Souk Madinat Jumeirah can be tough, but if you're looking for a great mix of impeccable food and views, I can definitely recommend Zheng He's. Just arriving by Abra and seeing the Burj Al Arab appear is magical on its own. While this was without doubt the priciest dinner of our trip, it might also be the most memorable one. And considering the location, quality of the food, and Abra ride that would otherwise almost be half of the bill already, I do very much think this place is worth it.
