Cañapa lagoon and Hedionda Lagoon

Next, you’ll visit two of the most breathtaking lagoons we’ve ever seen: Cañapa Lagoon and Hedionda Lagoon. The scenery is stunning, but the real highlight is the chance to see countless flamingos up close! Watching these graceful birds in their natural habitat was one of our favorite moments of the tour.

Wildlife spotting and National Reserve Eduardo Avaroa

After lunch, it’s time for some wildlife spotting. You might spot vicuñas (wild llamas) and viscachas (which look like rabbits). After that, we headed to the Eduardo Avaroa National Reserve to see the famous Stone Tree and Laguna Colorado. While the Stone Tree was impressive, Laguna Colorado was the real highlight. The vibrant colors of the lake, along with countless flamingos, made it an unforgettable sight. Standing at 4250 meters above sea level, it was surreal to see so many pink birds in this stunning red lake!
