Hiking in Wadi Ghuweir
Our next stop was in Dana, where we stayed in the Dana Eco Camp. With a beautiful view, decent rooms and everything well arranged, this was a nice stay with a good price quality ratio. From the Camp it was also very easy to arrange some trips. We did the Wadi Ghuweir trail, a beautiful hike through the gorge of the Dana mountain scenery.

Wadi Ghuweir trail
From our stay in the Dana Eco Camp we arranged a trip to Wadi Ghuweir, to do a guided trail. The difficulty of the trail is fairly easy, but be prepared to get wet feet. So don't wear your best pair of sneakers like some girls from our group did ☺ The hike kicks off at the start of the gorge, but the further you will go, the more water you'll encounter and therefore also some oasis-like scenery on the rocks. The trail has a nice diversity of scenery, with stunning views across the road. The total hike is around 12 kilometres, with the last 3-4 through a flat valley to get back to the road where you'll get picked up.
