Randonnée PR8 - Ponta de São Lourenço
La randonnée PR8 est assez différente des randonnées typiques de levada car vous marchez le long de la côte. Faites attention car il n'y a pas d'ombre le long du parcours, donc si possible, vous pourriez faire cette randonnée par un jour nuageux !
Hike PR8 - Ponta de São Lourenço
This 7-kilometer hike with about 500 meters of elevation change can be classified as medium difficulty. You walk along the eastern coastline, in fact this is a small peninsula. After a few kilometers there is a small restaurant where you can buy something to eat or drink. This is also where the second part of the hike begins, and the steeper part. Although a sign indicates that access is forbidden, most people ignore it and continue. Understandable, because the best view was yet to come! :)
