During my stay in Zadar, I visited Pariževačka Glavica – and it turned out to be one of the most breathtaking viewpoints I’ve seen in Croatia.
Located about a 45-minute drive from Zadar, this hidden gem near the tiny village of Pariževina has the most spectacular view over the Zrmanja River canyon. The landscape looks like something straight out of a Western movie – think mini Grand Canyon or Monument Valley vibes, but without the crowds.
It’s still relatively unknown, so chances are you'll have the place almost to yourself like me. Try to visit during golden hour for the most magical light and photos. It’s the perfect short road trip if you’re staying in Zadar and want to discover a truly wild and scenic side of Croatia.
> The last part of the drive there includes some unpaved roads, so be aware :) I love to rent a fully insured rental car from Sunny Cars for all my travels. Would definitely recommend.
