Day 3 — Orvieto and Palazzo Petrvs
From the Lazio region, we drove deep into Umbria, arriving in the hilltop town of Orvieto. Our stay at Palazzo Petrvs, a boutique hotel set in a former 16th-century chapel, was nothing short of magical - high ceilings, spacious rooms, and a refined tranquility. We spent the afternoon strolling Orvieto’s cobbled streets and historic piazzas, and ended the evening with cocktails and small bites at the hotel bar. The Americano is a must-try.
