Let's drive further up north. Sleeping in Port Elizabeth for 1 night to catch a flight, but stopping shortly at Tsitsikamma National Park for a hike.
Hiking in Tsitsikamma National Park
The goal of this day is to Reach Port Elizabeth by dinnertime. Perfect stop on your way? Tsitsikamma National Park! This place is famous for its enchanting rainforest and dramatic coastline. The park has plenty of options for circular or one-way hikes to discover the area. We chose for the Waterfall Hike (one-way hike, we went up and back again) which was a pretty one. However, talking with other travelers, the walk where you can see the famous Storms River Bridge (a 77m long suspension bridge) should be beautiful, too. Dinner & sleep at Port Elizabeth
Up tomorrow: a flight from Port Elizabeth to Hoedspruit (safari area 🤩). Find yourself a cheap, but safe hotel/airbnb here and for dinner, definitely go to Remo's Italian. A super authentic restaurant with an open kitchen and live music. The pizza's are the best here.
