Jordan
Amman, Jerash and floating in the Dead Sea
Day 1. After arriving in Amman we explore the ancient city of Jerash. In the afternoon it's time for a dip (or should I say float) in the Dead Sea!

Jerash, ancient Rome in Jordan
In the evening we arrived at Amman airport and the next day it was time for a visit to Amman, the capital of Jordan. First on the itinerary is a visit to Jerash. Jerash is a city known for it’s Roman ruins, it's home to one of the best preserved Greco-Roman cities. it’s like being back in roman times but in the middle east. I had never heard about it before but it’s an impressive place that you have to visit when visiting Jordan! A few places not to miss here are; The Hadrian's Arch, The oval Forum, the North Theater and the temple of Artemis.

Floating in the Dead Sea
In the afternoon it was time to relax. The first stop was the Dead Sea. At Hilton Resort we took a dip into the Dead Sea and chilled by the pool. First we put Dead Sea mud on our skin(which is supposed to be good for the skin) and let it dry up, which is fast in the hot sun. Then it was time to rinse of the mud and float in the Dead Sea. All expectations I had turned out to be true, it is very easy to float! So easy you can read a book in the water with no problems! It was a very unique experience to float in the Dead Sea. Definitely a once in a lifetime experience to cross of the bucketlist!

Cocktails on a Rooftop Bar
In the evening we returned to Amman and went strolling around at the local Bazaar. After the bazaar we went for a delicious jordan meal and to a fancy cocktailbar named C.LING in rainbow street. This is a small trendy street in Amman with a few upscale restaurants and bars.
