Wat Samphran (The Dragon Temple) is a unique Buddhist temple located about 40 km west of Bangkok in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. It’s famous for its striking 17-story pink cylindrical tower wrapped by a massive green dragon. The dragon symbolizes strength and spiritual growth, and inside it is a spiral staircase leading to the top. The tower’s height (80 meters) represents the age of the Buddha at his death. The temple grounds also include meditation halls, shrines, and a sculpture garden with mythological creatures like a giant turtle you can walk inside.
