Kootenay National Park: Floe Lake

The hike to Floe Lake is 11km long and, especially the last part, is quite heavy. Certainly, if you want to stay at its camp ground and so have to take all your stuff with you, lake we did. Make sure to be well-prepared if you do this! There are some bear lockers and a pit toilet, but no other facilities. The trail just opened when we went there, so there were still plants and bushes growing over the path, which made it sometimes difficult to walk. But ones you reach the lake, you can relax and enjoy this stunning area.
