Uganda
Kazinga channel
Not your regular boat ride: an encounter with the Kazinga Channel will drop your jaw every 10 seconds. A must when in Uganda!

Morning game drive
Start the day again with a game drive, this time in a more northern part of Queen Elizabeth NP.

Boat ride on the Kazinga Channel
Two Ugandan lakes are connected via the Kazinga Channel, which is the home to thousands of animals in every form. Tourists can hop on a guided boat ride here, and let me tell you: this was the most impressive safari of the whole trip. From hippo’s (out of the water) to elephants, crocodiles, tropical birds and buffalos: you’ll see literally everything here. And being on a boat, you can get really close!

Drinks & lunch at Mweya lodge
For drinks and lunch after this activity, go to Mweya Lodge, right on top of the channel. Great food, and while sipping your wine, you’ll look out on elephants near the water. Pa-pa-paradise!

Drive to Kibale National Park
Pack your bags, this time to the home of the chimps: Kibale. If you’re a bit exhausted by the busy schedule right now then don’t worry - there are two nights ahead in the most beautiful lodge of our trip. Perfect to recharge. Check-in here at Turaco Treetops. Next to a comfortable room with terrace, they serve delicious food.
