Full day drive
Expect a full day in the car to reach Murchison Falls National Park. Try to schedule with your guide that you’ll reach the park at sunset time. We immediately got to see giraffes during golden hour with the savanna in the background. Again a whole new part of Uganda!

Check-in at Fort Murchison Lodge
My lodge recommendation here is Fort Murchison. Located next to the Nile River, it’s a great place to unwind. Loved watching the sun set in one of the world’s most important rivers from the rooftop terrace. The decoration made me think of Morocco a bit, very pretty!
