Safari in Lake Manyara National Park
The day begins with a safari in Lake Manyara, a compact yet incredibly diverse national park. From lush jungles to serene lakeshores, the park is a paradise for wildlife lovers and birdwatchers. As the day winds down, arrive at the Rift Valley Photographic Lodge, located in the heart of the Rift Valley.

Safari in Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara is a small, lesser-known park in the Rift Valley in northern Tanzania. Ernest Hemingway once described it as "the loveliest place I have ever seen". And it's immediately clear why! The shimmering alkaline lake is a birdwatcher’s paradise. Drive deeper into the park to find yourself in a lush, tropical jungle where baboons are busy grooming each other. Enjoy watching grazing buffalos and zebras on the park’s open plains. In the southern part of the park, you can spot tree-climbing lions and dark giraffes.

Check into Rift Valley Photographic Lodge
Rift Valley Photographic Lodge is situated on the edge of a mountain ridge, offering a breathtaking view over Lake Manyara and the Rift Valley. The lodge's main building is built around an ancient baobab tree in the style of a Maasai village. It's a small-scale accommodation with only 15 chalets and all of them are well-thought-out, with large beds draped in mosquito nets, ensuring a good night’s sleep.
