Ella, my personal highlight
Wauw, Ella, you did not disappoint! Welcome to a lush green oasis with waterfalls, caves, adventure and parties ;) My friends and I stayed here for two nights and for us it was enough but there are plenty of things to do around here to stay longer than that! We didn't really come here to party so we chose an accommodation just outside the center and enjoyed nature to the fullest. I have to admit that the main reason I loved it here so much is probably because of the place we stayed at. It was such a dream, the photos will explain it all.
Hiking Ella Rock
Wauw, Ella, you did not disappoint! Waking up with the most magnificent view over Ella Rock was the perfect start of the day. And what better way to continue it than by actually hiking this giant mountain right? ;) Our host told us which trail to follow in order to pass by this beautiful waterfall (that we were also able to see from our room by the way!), and off we went. For those who haven't done any sports in a while, the hike might be exhausting but do-able and definitely worth it! The view you have on the top is just breathtaking. The hike is 10km and takes 3-4 hours but don't let this scare you off! I didn't know this before we went (we're kind of spontaneous like that haha) and it was totally fine! (side note: I have the endurance of a koala and even I could do it) You can't really go the wrong way as you'll come across other people who are doing the same hike, have fun!!
