Visit Les Chutes de Carbet
Ever seen two waterfalls in a row? We’ll, I didn’t and got the chance in Guadeloupe! Les Chutes du Carbet is a series of waterfalls in the midst of the rainforest. You can visit them by taking a small or a challenging hike: - visiting the second waterfall is just a 1-hour hike, leading to a viewpoint. Loved the path taking you there! Jungle book vibes 😊 - the first waterfall is accessible by going on a 4h hike (2h to go, 2h to go back). Both are worth in, and at the beginning of the hike you’ll have a great view on both of them!
Bokit lunch
Bokit-what? Bokit is a local speciality of Guadeloupe. Think of a crunchy round sandwich, filled with meat, salad, egg and cheese. Must try when on the island. On your way back from the waterfalls, grab one at Basse Terre (you’ll find many little stalls there).
