Stay in a authentic Moroccan Riad

We spend the first nights of our trip in Riad Smara with George & Kim as our hosts. This British couple really knows what hospitality is and make you feel at home from the moment you enter their Riad. The staff also contributes to this and are there to answer all of your questions and make your stay memorable.

We arranged a taxi with the Riad in advance.

Visit the Djemaa el Fna square by night

While enjoying the sunset and the cooler temperatures the Djemaa el Fna is worth a visit. This well organized chaotic square is a must see when visiting Marrakech. The vendors will try to sell you everything they got (food, fashion, interior stuff etc.), do mind when buying something from them: haggling is part of the culture! Mostly people wil go down to 1/2 or 1/3 of the original price. Not into this hustle & bustle? You can also enjoy and overlook the square with some mint tea from one of the rooftop terraces that are spread around the Djemaa el Fna.
