Admire the Grand Canyon of the Pacific at Waimea Canyon Lookout

Start your day at the Waimea Canyon Lookout, known as the "Grand Canyon of the Pacific." This is the main viewing area and gives you the best view of the canyon. The entrance fee is around €9 ($10) per vehicle, plus $5 per person. It's definitely worth it for the incredible views!

It is about 30 minutes to your next destination.

Relax at Kekaha Beach

Drive over to Kekaha Beach, the westernmost beach on Kauai. This expansive stretch of white sand is perfect for relaxing under the warm Hawaiian sun. It isn’t the prettiest beach on the island, but you won’t find many crowds at Kekaha Beach, just endless golden sand and perhaps a few local surfers or fishermen.

The last stop is only 20 minutes away.

Visit the Kauai Coffee Estate

End your day with a visit to the Kauai Coffee Estate, the largest coffee farm in the US. As you arrive, you’ll be greeted with a warm “aloha” and a delicious cup of Kauai Coffee to start your experience. Who doesn’t like to get caffeinated for free. ;-) You can choose between dozens of coffees, and all samples are free too! Take a free guided walking tour through the massive coffee orchard to learn all about how the coffee is grown, harvested, and roasted right on the island. It’s really something else to stroll past endless rows of coffee trees, and the panoramic views of the plantation with the sea as backdrop just complete the picture.
