Kauai from above, the Spouting Horn, and Poipu Beach
We saved the best for last: an unforgettable flight over Kauai, a visit to the Spouting Horn, and a chance to spot turtles at Poipu Beach!

Morning flight over the island
What better way to wrap up your Kauai adventure than with a breathtaking flight over the island? We’re big fans of taking a flight like this near the end of your holiday, rather than at the beginning. By then, you’ll have plenty of reference points for where you’ve been, giving you a better perspective on the island’s beauty. The views are spectacular, and the wide windows ensure you don’t miss a thing. It might just be the best thing you do on the island!
Lunch is only 5 minutes away.
Lunch at 22 Degrees Baked
After your morning flight, head to 22 Degrees Baked for the best pastries on the island! If you're lucky enough to visit on a Tuesday, you can also grab some tacos. We’re still dreaming about their shrimp tacos, they were the best we've ever had!
Little under half an hour to see some impressive nature in action.
See the Spouting Horn
The Spouting Horn is one of Kauai's most famous natural wonders. As waves rush into an underwater lava tube, they’re forced up through a small opening that creates a powerful spout of water. This blast can reach up to 15 meters high! It’s an impressive sight, you should definitely keep an ear out for the distinctive sound it makes. It’s reminiscent of a horn blowing, hence the name. 😉
Less than 10 minutes for the last stop of the day!
Spot turtles at Poipu Beach
Wrap up your day by heading to Poipu Beach for some turtle watching. Poipu Beach is a well-known spot for turtle sightings, and there are several information signs around the area to help you learn more about these beautiful animals. It was so much fun to see these massive turtles resting on the beach! Bring a blanket, sit back, and enjoy your last hours in Kauai on the beach, surrounded by turtles.
