You start at the Miradouro da Rocha do Navio. To the right of the viewpoint, follow the path with makeshift steps leading downward. The descent takes you through a rich natural environment with various plant species. 🌳 Although sometimes steep, the path is well-maintained and clearly marked. Watch for warning signs about falling rocks or steep drop-offs, and be mindful of plant growth obstructing the path. Enjoy the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean, rugged cliffs, and hidden waterfalls. 🌊🌿
Halfway down, you'll pass under a small waterfall. 🌧️ At the bottom, you'll reach a tranquil, secluded bay. Swimming is not recommended due to rough waves, but calmer weather might allow it after crossing large boulders.
The route down takes about 30 minutes, while the return trip up takes at least 1 hour. Enjoy!
