South Africa
Arriving at the gateway to the Garden Route
From our previous stay in Franschhoek we drove for 6h. today to arrive in Wilderness. Just in time to settle down in our cabin for the night and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun set over the ocean and mountains.

Sunset from our deck
After a long ride from the Cape Winelands to Wilderness, we settle down on the deck of our cabin. On AirBnB we found a cabin on top of a hill overlooking the ocean and the river delta in Wilderness. After a quick stop in the local supermarket we were ready to watch the sun set from our deck while enjoying a cold white South African wine. Are you interested in this cabin? Just be aware that this will probably be one of your most "natural" experiences ever! This cabin has a lot of holes and peaks and the area is known for it's snakes and giant spiders. During the night we captured 2 gigantic spiders (tarantula size 🕷️) and released far away from our cabin. Like you can imagine... we didn't really slept a lot! 😅
