First stop in Piemonte: your (winery) boutique hotel. Buongiorno, Villa Tiboldi! This family-run place is located in the midst of their vineyards and therefore offers hilly, green views. Also: great location to discover the region from.
Head to the next experience by car and take in the views along the way!
Wine tasting at Cantina Lodali
Can't leave Piemonte without having tasted their wonderful wines. Especially the reds are memorable. We had a great experience at the (very small) tasting room of Walter Lodali. He passionately showed us his wine caves and let us taste very exclusive wines. Oh, and the accompanying salami was the best we ever had. Right next to his tasting room, you can have a tasty lunch.
Dinner at Campamac in Barbaresco
Ending our holiday in style, at Campamac in Barbaresco. This is fine dining in a laid-back setting. Not michelin, not basic. Something in between. Perfect for food lovers that like to get surprised by local dishes. They don't have a terrace, as it focusses fully on the food and wine they serve. Highly recommended!
