Arenal Volcano National Park

This is one of the main things to do in Costa Rica as it’s the most active volcano since the last eruption in 1968. Don’t worry tho, the rangers keep a close eye on the volcanic activity. It’s a 2hour walk to the viewpoint over the volcano, and Arenal Lake. Once you set foot on the solified lava you know you’re almost there! A ticket cost €15

Making chocolate

I really recommend this activity if you have the time! It is so interesting to see how they make chocolate from scratch and at the end you can taste as many chocolate as you like which is ofcourse amazing. We were the only ones on this tour what was even more fun because we could ask alot of questions and they really took the time to explain everything to us and we could actually make the chocolates ourselfs. We booked with getyourguide and price was around €30 each. The company was called “rainforest chocolate tour” And you can watch my full video of all the steps in my “Costa Rica” highlight on instagram!
