A day of exploring with a visit to a local market and a beautiful coastal village
Exploring the Teguise market, followed by tapas and a visit to the beautiful seaside town of Costa Teguise ✨

A visit to the market of Teguise
Located in the historic center of Teguise (which is beautiful by the way), you will find one of the largest markets in Europe with more than 400 stalls. Here you can find everything: clothing, traditional and international crafts, agricultural products, typical gastronomy and souvenirs. Our kids were fan of the churro's of course ;-). There are also some very nice shops in the centre of Teguise! So if you're in the mood for shopping and strolling around, this is the place to be. The market takes place every Sunday from 9 am until 2 pm and there are some parkings right outside the city center where you can leave your car.

Visit the town of Costa Teguise and enjoy some Tapas
The coastal town of Costa Teguise has 5 beautiful beaches and a very laid-back vibe. It's not very authentic so you won't find old buildings or historical moments, because it's been built in the eighties, but it's a nice place to just enjoy sun, sea and good vibes. An ideal place to visit with kids! We even drove a go cart with the whole family, because why not? :) Release your inner child and have fun cruising the coastline with your vehicle of choice. After exploring the beaches and the coastline, we went for Tapas at El Maestro Restaurante. A good choice! There was something for everyone and the terrace had a nice seaview but wasn't too crowded and had a nice mediterrean athmosphere to it. The Tapas were of very good quality. Make sure to taste the fresh squid!
Enjoy a lazy afternoon surrounded in our boutique Hotel surrounded by the vineyards of Lanzarote
Among the volcanic landscape on the Canary Island of Lanzarote you can find Finca Malavasia. Quietly located yet close to the beach and restaurants. This small vacation spot is a wonderful and stylish accommodation for a casual (family) vacation in the wine region of La Geria. We stayed in La Finca, an independent villa for a maximum of 6-7 persons. It was magical waking up to the view of the vineyards and the clouds colouring the volcanic landscape. We loved coming back to this haven after a day of exploring the island. The private pool is a real gem and such a nice area to read a book or just enjoy the surrounding nature. The kitchen is well equipped and the design of the villa is inspiring. The communal pool area is also very cosy and estethically pleasing! We will, without a doubt, return to this piece of heaven in the rural countryside of Lanzarote.
