Last weekend, I went with a friend to B&B Bird’s Nest in Bruges with the goal of unwinding, enjoying, and celebrating. And that we did. On Friday, we had a lovely dinner at Gasthof Siphon and on Saturday morning we headed to the market in downtown Bruges (just 5 minutes by car - bikes were available, but given the cold, we chose the easy way this time). On Sunday, a walk was planned, but given the drizzly weather, we'll save it for next time. The start of the walking route (15 km) is right next to the accommodation. To keep warm, we chose to fully enjoy what the room had to offer: a blissful bed, a delightful shower with Rainpharma products, tasty coffee, and a beautiful view. We solved an Unsolved Case File (Goliath - via Bol.com), took time to read a book, and ordered a meal online. The hospitality, warm welcome, and smooth communication with the host and hostess were the icing on the cake. Since there's also a nice terrace linked to the accommodation (which we unfortunately couldn't enjoy this time 🥶), we will definitely go back when it's warmer! Absolutely recommended for a weekend in Bruges or a weekend of unwinding! We found this place via the website of Club Belgium - worth a look!
