The crystal-clear waters are perfect for a refreshing swim, and just a short climb up to the charming chapel rewards you with breathtaking views, and a hidden staircase leading down to the water. After exploring, unwind at the cozy little taverna right by the beach. Enjoy freshly caught fish, perfectly paired with creamy tzatziki and warm, grilled toast. Skala Sikamineas - A little piece of magic
Nestled on the northern coast of Lesvos, Skala Sikamineas feels like a little piece of magic. This charming fishing village, with its colorful boats in the harbor and the iconic Church of the Mermaid Madonna, has a calm, almost timeless atmosphere. What makes it truly unique though, is its four-legged residents, cats. Lots of them. Wandering through the harbour, you’ll find cats lounging on stone steps, curled up on fishing nets, or soaking up the sun by the water. They add a touch of character to this already picturesque village.
