Kenya is a unique country in Africa, as next to impressive safari parks, you can also head to the seaside for some relax-time. And not just any seaside, the beaches are simply real-life postcards. We chose to stay in Watamu, which has a very laid-back vibe and is home to some stunning sunset spots. One of them is Lichthaus. Looking at the pictures: do I need to say more?
Lichthaus has a Mediterranean feel over it with its bohemian interior and hammocks positioned over the ocean. Located perfectly in front of where the sun sets, it's the ultimate spot in Watamu to end your day.
Beware: it gets very hot here. Visiting during the day (when the bar falls into the shade) or right after sunset will probably give you a more relaxed experience.
