For a relaxed sunset dinner in Marseille, La Calanque Blanche is a great place to go. The restaurant is located on Chemin des Goudes, a coastal road just outside the city. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Marseille’s Old Port and easy to reach by car or scooter.
We rented a Vespa for 2 days and used it to explore the coastline of Marseille. La Calanque Blanche was one of our stops and a perfect one to plan around sunset. Small tip: ask for a table on the rooftop terrace. From there, you have a nice view of the sea and the sunset.
The menu focuses mainly on seafood, with several other options. They offer a wide selection of cocktails (and mocktails), making it an ideal spot for an early evening drink before dinner. La Calanque Blanche is a nice option if you want a calm dinner by the sea, away from the busy city center.
