Vilnius
A daytrip to Vilnius
City trip
€ 50 - 100
1 day
Vilnius gets underated alot, but for me it's still a very nice city to visit if you're traveling through the Baltic region of Europe. Vilnius is known for its rich cultural heritage, stunning architecture, and a lively atmosphere. This city has something to offer for every visitor and is perfect to visit as a daytrip.
For people who like

Breakfast at Italala
Start your day with breakfast at one of the best coffee spots in the city.

Old town
After a good morning coffee and croissant you're ready to explore the old town of Vilnius. The city is not that huge so everything is very walkable. Visit the cathedral of Vilnius and the Gedimimas tower (which costs only 8 Euro). It provides panoramic views of the city and the surrounding countryside.

Have lunch at Beigelista
These are def one of the best bagels I've ever had. I even came here twice because they are just that good. They also have a bagel of the month.

Visit the Užupis district
Užupis is the smallest district in Vilnius and is separated from the Old Town by the Vilnelė River. In 1997 residents of Užupis decided to declare independence. An independent republic has to have money, power, an anthem and constitution, and above all, a free spirit. You will find all of this in Užupis. Užupis has grown into a beautiful neighbourhood of artists, intellectuals and entrepreneurs. You will see that there is also a beautiful art district.
