The best lunch & coffee bars

Looking for a place to warm up inside after your walk with a delicious lunch or a cup of coffee? These lunch and coffee places should be on your list: - Visser's Poffertjes. The most Dutch café you will find in Dordrecht. Their coffee is great and on the menu you will find a variety of poffertjes (small, fluffy pancakes) and other Dutch classics such as 'Broodje bal' and 'tosti'. You can find this place on Groenmarkt. - Bluebirds in the Backyard. This is a lunchroom/ concept store in a beautiful old building. Every room is a treat: a room full of plants and gifts for those who love gardening. A room full of gifts for children and a room for sustainable gifts in and around the home. All dishes are plant-based and look and taste lovely. - Hazel. This small and cozy coffeebar in the Voorstraat is mostly plant-based. The owners make as much as they can themselves. Think of the Dutch 'boterkoek' to the classic chai latte, pumpkin chutneys and chocolate chip cookies. - Nobel's Brood. A cup of tea or coffee in a monumental building with delicious home made baked goods. From French rustic breads to buttery croissants, from Dutch 'eierkoeken' to lemon cakes. All regional and made with love. - Augustus Restaurant. A bit further east outside of the city center, you can find Augustus. Freshly harvested, the produce is cooked with love by the chefs. The menu changes every two weeks and is super seasonal.

5 x stores and boutiques

The old town of Dordrecht is host to a lot of small boutiques and nice stores. Pay a visit to: - Het Magazijn. Restaurant, concept stores and "art lending" under one roof, in Dordrecht's most beautiful Art Nouveau building. Buy yourself your favorite vinyl album, admire the photography section of the first floor or go take a look at the art gallery. When you are done, you can treat yourself to a cup of coffee (or something else) in the bar downstairs. Other recommendations: - Preloved Fashion by 3xM - vintage fashion - De Inrichterij - interior shop - Vicino Sei - Italian perfumes - Het Wijnhuis 167 - Wines
