Natural Pools - Porto Moniz or Seixal
In the north of the island, you have two opportunities to swim in natural pools. One is located in Porto Moniz, the other in Seixal. We looked at them both but found the one in Seixal more intimate, besides, these pools are free. In Porto Moniz you have a paid one and a free one. In Seixal you also have Seixal Beach, a public beach of black sand.

Miradouro do Veu da Noiva
A few minutes further by car, you should stop at this viewpoint of a huge waterfall. The waterfall used to land straight into the sea, but due to a severe landslide a few years ago, it no longer does. You can still see the remains of the landslide.
