Albania
Exploring a bit more of Gjirokaster and off to Ksamil
Went on a morning hike in Gjirokaster, made a stop for a nice swim in Blue Eye and ended up with a beer in our hands on a beach in Ksamil.

Morning hike to Ali Pasha Bridge
We went on a morning hike to Ali Pasha Bridge, which was gorgeous! I'd highly recommend, but take some water and eat something before you go (we didn't, oopsie). It takes about an hour, but the hike is pretty steep (and pretty ;-) )

Breakfast of a champion at our B&B
We had a great vegetarian breakfast after our hike, in a cosy inner garden beneath our B&B.

Exploring the Old Town Bazaar of Gjirokaster
In Gjirokaster, you can find a bazaar with all of its local products and handmade carpets. I loved it!

Blue Eye
The Blue Eye is an oasis in the middle of Albania. Although it's quite touristy, it's definitely worth a visit (5O LEK pp). The water is very cold, but channel your inner Wim Hof and take a dip! We also took some bread, cheese and veggies for a nice lunch next to the river.

Winding down at the beach in Ksamil
Our B&B hostess arranged a place at the private beach for us, we had the beach almost completely to ourselves! We had a beer on a sunbed and read our book. Afterwards we went to dinner in the center of Ksamil. The crab linguine was alright, but not my best meal in Albania.

Bedtime
We had this amazing B&B (Vila Panorama Ksamil) on a hill, overlooking Ksamil and right next to beach Augusto. Ksamil center was a 5 minute walk away.
