Arrival in Tirana
We arrived in Tirana after a 3-hour flight, made a quick stop in Durres and ended our day in Berat.
Car pick-up at Tirana airport
After our flight from Brussels, someone from the car rental company was waiting for us. We got our car straight at the airport and could start our roadtrip in less than half an hour!
Exploring the charming old town of Berat
Berat is literally one of the most charming towns I've ever been to. Just strolling through the city and next to the canal is an experience in itself. You're accompanied by the call for prayer coming from the mosques.
Main street drinks and rooftop dinner
We had a glass of wine on the main street in Berat, just watching people :-) Afterwards we went for dinner (1800 LEK) and stumbled upon a rooftop restaurant, hidden between the small, cobbled streets.
There's a short 5 minute walk uphill to our B&B
Sleep tight for our first night
