A relaxing day enjoying a cappuccino in Alghero in the morning and spending the afternoon at our swimming pool. In the late afternoon we headed out to Bosa - south of Alghero - to enjoy an evening stroll and drive the incredible sunset road between Bosa and Alghero. This is an absolute must when you have your own Sunnycars rental car!
Bosa & the scenic coastal sunset road to Alghero
When you are exploring the northwestern part of Sardinia you can’t miss out on this spectacular sunset route. Enjoy a late afternoon drink or early dinner in the town of Bosa. Along the water you’ll find some great spots. Make sure to leave 1 hour before sunset and start driving along the coast towards Alghero. This road has its place along Chapmans Peak in South Africa or Highway 1 in California. It’s winding route guides you from one sunset point to another with dramatic views over the bay of Alghero with the famous Capo Caccia in the back.
