Start your day with a peaceful sunrise walk at Campuhan Ridge Walk
Begin your day with a stunning sunrise walk along the Campuhan Ridge, a scenic trail that offers breathtaking views of Ubud. This peaceful path is perfect for a relaxed morning stroll, with plenty of spots for capturing beautiful photos as the first light of day hits the landscape. The walk itself is gentle and ideal for all fitness levels, as it’s a (mostly) even path throughout the hike!
It’s only a 5-minute ride or 30-minute walk to your breakfast spot of the day.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at Amsterdam
After working up an appetite, head to Amsterdam, a very popular favorite for breakfast or brunch. At Amsterdam, you can create your own perfect meal, consisting of either three or five dishes (or more, if you’re really hungry!). On the menu you’ll find everything from savory mini burgers to smoked salmon and sautéed mushrooms. The setting is relaxed and the interior is very pretty too, just what you need to really experience that “Bali life” ;-)

Explore Goa Gajah, an intriguing temple
Next it’s time to dive into the mysteries of Goa Gajah, also known as the Elephant Cave. This 11th-century site is full of legend and spirituality. For starters, the entrance of the cave is carved in the form of a demonic face! Inside you’ll find altars and statues dedicated to Hindu gods with candles burning left and right. But what we liked even more, are the surrounding gardens. You can spend hours and hours here, whether it’s looking at the waterfall, walking along the river, or checking out the fish in the ponds. We spent over one hour here, and still feel like we haven’t seen it all!
A 9-minute ride is all it takes for probably the best dinner experience you’ll ever have!

End your day with a memorable dinner at Honey & Smoke, an upscale dining experience you'll remember for a long time. The menu here is all about sharing, with a variety of flavors and textures to sample together. From grilled scallops to tempura zucchini flowers, each dish is not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Honey & Smoke is the perfect setting to end your day, make sure to order one of their cocktails as well! We’ve tried a lot (too many) of them, each and every one was just so good. Our faves are the Yuzu on Passion if you’re into sweeter drinks, and the Norihana Smoke for… a full spectacle.
