Op weg naar Lanzarote!
Op de eerste dag van deze werkvakantie reisden we van Keulen naar Lanzarote met een tussenstop in Málaga.
5 hour layover in Málaga
The workation started with an early flight at 5:35 AM on a Sunday, from Cologne to Málaga. In Málaga we had a 5 hour layover, and as busy bees we couldn't resist this chance to also visit Málaga. So this is what we did, and with all our luggage we went to an amazing viewpoint. From here you have an amazing view over the city and 19th-century arena. After climbing the hill to this viewpoint, we went to the city center, visited the cathedral and Parque de Málaga. The two hours in the city were over pretty quickly and we continued our journey to Lanzarote.

Discovering Playa Blanca in Lanzarote
In the afternoon we arrived at our final destination: Lanzarote. We picked up our rental car (which we hired at Sunny Cars) and drove to Playa Blanca, our base for the first two nights in Lanzarote. We took our time to settle down, before setting off on foot along the coastline in search of a nice tapas restaurant. Eventually, we found exactly what we were looking for at the restaurant called "La Katedral".
