Another fun and relaxing way to get around is to rent a bicycle. Tulum is split into two different areas: Tulum Pueblo and Tulum Beach. It takes about 30 minutes from Tulum Pueblo/Center to cycle down to the Hotel Zone and the beaches at Tulum Beach.

In Tulum Center you will find more affordable stays and hostels. You’ll find plenty of good restaurants, souvenir shops, and night entertainment, and you can still easily get to the beach by bike, scooter, car.
