Stay at the Sylvia Hotel
We stayed at the Sylvia hotel for three days. It's a lovely, old hotel, close to Stanley Park. Ideal (and payable) when you visit Vancouver.
Loop via Beach Avenue, naast English Bay Beach, naar Gastown
Explore the city centre of Vancouver
We walked to the centre of Vancouver via Beach Avenue, next to English Bay Beach. We first visited Gastown and its famous Steam Clock. Gastown is a lovely area with authentic buildings and ideal for some souvenier shopping. We then went to Chinatown (would not recommend as it did not felt safe), Science World, the Rogers Arena and BC Stadium and Robson Street. At the latter, nearby the university, you can buy some delicious hotdogs on the street.
