Ella, mijn persoonlijke hoogtepunt
Wauw, Ella, je hebt niet teleurgesteld! Welkom in een weelderige groene oase met watervallen, grotten, avontuur en feesten ;) Mijn vrienden en ik verbleven hier twee nachten en voor ons was het genoeg, maar er zijn genoeg dingen te doen om hier langer te blijven! We kwamen hier niet echt om te feesten, dus we kozen een accommodatie net buiten het centrum en genoten ten volle van de natuur. Ik moet toegeven dat de belangrijkste reden waarom ik het hier zo leuk vond, waarschijnlijk te maken heeft met de plek waar we verbleven. Het was zo'n droom, de foto's zullen het allemaal uitleggen.
Hiking Ella Rock
Wauw, Ella, you did not disappoint! Waking up with the most magnificent view over Ella Rock was the perfect start of the day. And what better way to continue it than by actually hiking this giant mountain right? ;) Our host told us which trail to follow in order to pass by this beautiful waterfall (that we were also able to see from our room by the way!), and off we went. For those who haven't done any sports in a while, the hike might be exhausting but do-able and definitely worth it! The view you have on the top is just breathtaking. The hike is 10km and takes 3-4 hours but don't let this scare you off! I didn't know this before we went (we're kind of spontaneous like that haha) and it was totally fine! (side note: I have the endurance of a koala and even I could do it) You can't really go the wrong way as you'll come across other people who are doing the same hike, have fun!!
