Renting a bike in Reims is fairly easy. Manu Loca Bikes is located near the Reims train station and offers bikes from €20/day. They don't have an office, so keep your eye open for a van with their logo on. They are open from may until september. Choose a route (preferably with the first and last part following the canal of Reims, otherwise you will get stuck in traffic because Reims has no good byclicle infrastructure in the suburbs), and choose some champagne houses on the way for a drink and a snack.
Champagne & Food market in Mailly-Champagne
Each year from 26th to 29th of May, Mailly-Champagne organizes a local Champagne & Food market. Buy a wine glass at the entrance and try all kinds of wines and champagnes for free.
A visit to the Pommery caves
Famous for a reason: the Pommery champagne and its caves. Visit this Champagne house if you want an extraordinary experience in the caves. Artsy, modern, new: the caves have something else to offer. For a full explanation about methods and champagne-making, visit a smaller, local Champagne house. Pommery is not really about that.
Grab some food at Le Marché
Good food, nice drinks, great terrace, cool interior: Le Marché has it all. Make sure you leave room for dessert. The tarte-tatin is amazing.
