Drive along the Skeleton Coast
The secluded Skeleton Coast of Namibia is an interesting place to visit. A drive along the coast is an adventure on its own. The name comes from several shipwrecks that can be found along the coast. Some of the wrecks are worth a stop.

Watch seals at Cape Cross
Cape Cross is a nature reserve that is home to the largest land colony of Cape Fur seals. At Cape Cross, about 80,000 Cape fur seals gather, turning the beach black due to their large numbers. It is one of the not-to-miss places in Namibia. Visitors can walk on boardwalks between the seals so they aren’t disturbed by human presence. If you’re a nature photography lover Cape Cross is a fantastic place for taking close-by photos of the seals.
Explore the Center of Swakopmund
Nowhere else in Namibia is the German influence as evident as in Swakopmund. You can see it in the architecture, many street names, and numerous restaurants with German menus. Swakopmund has everything to enjoy a nice stroll: long sandy beaches, small squares, beautiful architecture, cozy coffee shops, and great views from the pier. All the main attractions, restaurants, shops, and the beach are close to each other you really don’t need a car to move around. The Lighthouse is one of the architectural highlights of Swakopmund
